Why you should go

First day: Upon arrival at the airport, you will rent a car. The first stop-over of your wine and food journey will be a castle of Treviso area, immersed in 110 hectares of grapevines. Passing the Medieval walls, you can admire a wonderful garden that will make you start a journey in the old Venetian aristocracy. A one hour walk among grapevines until you reach the barrique cellar, where they still produce wine nowadays. The visit will end with the tasting of five wines inside the wine shop.
Later, a visit to a farm producing the red Trevisano radicchio with some tasting included.
At the end you will reach Treviso, where you will have some time to admire this gorgeous city.
Dinner in an historical restaurant in the city centre, famous for the invention of tiramisu.
Overnight in a XVII Venetian Villa, still inhabited and loved by his owners, just 4 km far from Treviso city centre.

Second day: Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning “tiramisu cooking class”: with an expert patissier you will learn how to cook the real home made tiramisu of Treviso.
In the afternoon departure for Vittorio Veneto. Along the way a stop in a dairy farm to discover the Venetian dairy tradition.
Later, another stop in a farm, again to walk among the grapevines with visit of a wine cellar inside an old barrel, which is now designated to tasting room.
At the end, overnight in a holiday farm covered with an endless lattice of grapevines. You will sleep in a barrel, immersed in the peace of a grapevine of Prosecco wine.

Third day: Our journey will move towards Valdobbiadene. In this lucky strip of land, everything smells of wine and deliciousness, of a centuries-old wine culture, which has been marked the landscape and the soul of an area among the most fascinating of Italy. A little trunk of natural, artistic and architectural treasures to discover understanding the slow rhythms of a wellness land that still knows how to live human-size.
You will visit a centuries-old cellar and will discover the grapevines that, with centuries-old patience, wait for the meeting with the sun and watch the interchange of seasons, colors, flavors.
In the afternoon we suggest a stop to the Osteria Senza Oste, a tavern in which there is no bartender at all (he just supply the pantry); a philosophy based just on trusting each other.
Overnight in a holiday farm in Valdobbiadene with solarium terrace with panoramic pool and jacuzzi.

Fourth day: Departing for Asolo, where you can have a walk in its wonderful village, admiring the fortress, the castle, squares and palaces. Eleonora Duse, Freya Stark, Caterina Cornaro, Robert Browning are just some of the many famous characters who chose to stay for a long time in this enchanting city.
In the afternoon you will reach Bassano del grappa, one of the most important cities of Veneto. Its feature is the famous Ponte degli Alpini (bridge of the Italian alpine trooper) build on Palladio’s design. The name “del Grappa” refers to the mountain that overlooks Bassano, but at the same time recalls the famous spirit, a flagship of the city. The first visit will be to the Museum of the Grappa located in the city center, then to a distillery, where you will have the possibility of visiting the room used for the distillation. Here the process is still hand made with the old steam still, to be taken then to in the cellars where it will stay in about 4.000 barrique; at the end you will taste these spirits.
